چکیده

This study is devoted to Musanga cecropioides (Urticaceae), a tropical plant whose leaves and root bark are used in traditional medicine the treatment of various pathologies. The objective this work was qualitative quantitative composition phenolic compounds extracts (McF) (McR) evaluate their antioxidant anticholinesterase properties. Phytochemical screening using TLC showed that contain, along with such as coumarins, flavonoids tannins, other bioactive phytocompounds namely sterols, terpenes alkaloids. Quantitative analysis phytoconstituents by spectrophotometry contents total polyphenols (7.753% 119.389 mg EAG / g, respectively) higher than those (1.41% 105.944 respectively). activity selective evaluated FRAP DPPH methods found be significant compared vitamin C. All good percentages inhibition acetylcholinesterase (AChE) ranging from 51.952 63.589%.

Phytochemical Investigation of Leontice leontopetalum L. subsp. ewersmannii with Antioxidant and Anticholinesterase Activities

Abstract: Two known quinolizidine alkaloids, lupanine and leontiformidine, were isolated from the tubers of L. leontopetalum subsp. ewersmannii. Lupanine having the highest inhibition of lipid peroxidation at 100 μg/mL among the tested samples indicated almost the same ABTS cation radical scavenging activity with BHT, αtocopherol and (+)-catechin at the same concentration. Lupanine and the alka...
